The Bacon Aquatic Center opened in June of 2007, after a hugely successful fundraising campaign. The combined Bacon Aquatic Center/Gillette Park Renovation was a $4 million project, of that amount over $3.5 million was raised through contributions by individual, business and industry donors, and several grants.
The aquatic center holds 293,000 gallons of water, contains a 23' high, 136' long open flume water slide, a 23' high, 82' long enclosed water slide, 12' high and 4' high diving boards, a designated kids area, a sand play area, concession stand, 6 large canopies and over 35 lounge chairs, picnic tables and lockers.

Pool Parties (must see Manager)
| $100 per hour for the shallow area for up to 100 people. |
| $150 per hour for slides and shallow area for up to 200 people. |
| $175 per hour for whole pool for no more than 125 people ($1 more per extra person.) |
| $20 for open concession stand |
