Welcome to our website!  Cherokee is a city of 5,369 residents, located in Northwest Iowa in the beautiful Little Sioux River Valley.  We are located at the intersection of U. S. Bacon Aquatic Center & Gillette Park Project

The new Bacon Aquatic Center opened June 21, 2007! Click on the aquatic center link above to find information about hours and prices.

You can help!  Donate today - over 300 businesses, individuals and organizations already have!  A donation of $1,000 or more assures a brick in the Memorial Wall inscribed with your name, or in memory of a loved one.
There are only about 50 bricks left to be inscribed.  Contact City Hall at 712-225-5749, John Cook at 712-225-5175 or Dr. Robert Martin at 712-225-3547 and pledge today!  Pledges can be paid over a period of
