The Cherokee Parks Department plans, acquires, develops and maintains high-quality parks to 
beautify and enhance the City of Cherokee.  The crown jewel of the city park system is beautiful Koser
Spring Lake Park, located along Hwy. 59 South.   This park has 40 camping spaces with electrical, water and sewer hookups, shower and restroom facilities, asphalt paved walking/jogging trail, modern 
playground equipment, paddle boats, fishing and many shelter facilities including the enclosed, air conditioned, Spring Lake Yacht Club.  Directly across the highway is Wescott Park, which contains ball diamonds, concession stand and restroom facilities.  

Camping fees are as follows:  $15.00 per night, $320.00 per month.  Tent camping is available for $5.00 per night.

To reserve open shelter space or Spring Lake Yacht Club (full kitchen facilities), please call 712-225-2715.  Yacht Club rental fees are $65
for 1/2 day and $100 for full day rental, plus a $30 refundable damage deposit.  If beer and wine are brought in rental fees are $85 per 1/2 day and $100 for all day rental, with a $100 refundable damage deposit.

Rooms are available for rent at the Cherokee Community Center. For receptions and banquets, use of one level (with beer/wine) is
$160.00.  Use of both levels (with beer/wine) is $275.00.  Use of one level all day without beer and wine is $120, use of both
levels all day without beer and wine is $200. 
A cleaning/damage deposit of $100 (without beer and wine) and $150 (with beer and wine) is required. Meeting rooms are also available for rent for either 1/2 day or all day events.

Wireless internet is available in the large meeting room at the community center.
