Budget Workshop
                                            City Hall, Cherokee, Iowa
                                                                    February 4, 2010 – 5:00 P.M.

Mayor Murphy called a budget workshop to order on this date.  Present:  Council Members Burkhart, Mallory, Morrow,
Stieneke, Administrator Eikmeier, Clerk-Treasurer Taylor.  Absent:  Council Member Peck.

Review of the 2010-11 budget continued with Department Heads from Street, Water and Sewer Departments giving a brief
overview of their budgets and answering questions from the Council.  Administrator Eikmeier then went over the Debt Service,
Aviation Authority, Solid Waste, Landfill, and Hotel/Motel Tax budgets.  He passed out information on revenue sources
and possible deductions to aid in balancing the General Fund and asked the council to review it over the weekend and bring
back questions or suggestions to the next budget workshop on Tuesday, February 9 at 5:00 p.m. 

On a motion by Morrow, seconded by Burkhart, the meeting was adjourned at 7:15 p.m.  Motion carried.
