      Please fill out forms and return to City Hall.
      For new construction, a $500 refundable deposit is required.  The deposit is refunded upon completion
      and submission of all required inspections and permits (see last page of building permit application
      form.)

        Building Permits Required

        1.  New construction of houses, garages, sheds, commercial buildings (including modular/manufactured
             homes or moving a home or commercial building to a lot.)

        2.  New accessory structures including sheds, dog kennels, detached garages, fences, and decks
             (if more than 24" off the ground and/or if not in compliance with setback regulations).

        3.  Any structural addition to an existing house or building.

        4.  Changing roof line.
 

            No Building Permit Required

        1.  Siding, roofing, painting, carpeting, dry wall, insulation.

        2.  Repairs and replacement of existing doors, windows, driveways, sidewalks, fences.

        3.  Plumbing and electrical.
